A sublime tribute to the golden movie era’s Outdoor Venues, “Drive-In Movie Memories” is a heart-felt and highly informative homage interspersed with conversations conducted with directors, film stars and “car-drivers” who frequented the large open sites which perfectly combined America’s two Love-Affairs together…the MOVIES and AUTOMOBILES. Magnificently edited, a viewer is whisked back to a simpler time in the USA with newspaper clippings, ads and classic black & white footage of the Drive-In theater complexes that dotted the landscape countrywide starting in the 1930’s and through the post WW II boom. The ultimate decline of the drive-in movies is documented also, where the 1970’s saw the coming of the “Multi-Plex” and VCR/DVD decades rising. Famed Film Critic Leonard Maltin is interviewed and many Hollywood luminaries.
