Young Lian is trying to get to the United States, but gets stuck in Bogota, lost and without any resources or knowledge of Spanish. She attracts the attention of Raul, a young artist who has hit a creative rut and is biding his time as a clerk in a hardware store. The soulful Raul manages to win a limited amount of Lian’s trust, and although they can’t communicate through words, slowly they find a way to understand each other. Or do they? Vulnerability needs no language, and Raul and Lian will need to decide if they wish to explore what they feel…or run away from it.
Country(ies) : COLOMBIA Financing plan : For the production stage the project won a Colombian funding for 160,000 dollars and worked in alliance with Fox Telecolombia and Sacromonte Films from Spain. Now the project is completed and looking for international sales.
