Jeff and his young daughter Alice live a shiftless life on the road, travelling across the States. Jeff adores Alice – but she’s too innocent to realise that Jeff is using her as a pawn in his game to entrap, rape and murder women. Afraid that he is damaging his daughter permanently, Jeff decides to stop ‘playing the game,’ to settle down and give Alice a real, stable life. Pitching up in a trailer park, Jeff and Alice settle into a new routine: Alice goes to school, Jeff finds work, and he even begins a relationship with Hannah, Alice’s teacher. But Alice knows more that Jeff realises about his murderous past. As jealousies between Alice and Hannah escalate, and as Alice learns to manipulate the power she has over her father, Jeff discovers that his need to kill can’t be repressed.
