Synopsis

Night falls on Mexico City. Ana and Alejandro are held up at gunpoint; he is shot to death. The violence of his death unsettles the tight bonds that unite his close group of friends --Daniel, Christian, Pia and Ana, struggle to assimilate their friend’s passing as they put together the pieces of their own lives. Ana falls into a suffocating depression. Christian is captivated by her, but is burdened by guilt. His father, Miguel is broke, but determined to find his long-lost love. Daniel is jealous of Christian, and in love with Pia. Pia doesn’t know what she wants.
FOLLOW ME DOWN is a reconciliation with Mexico City , a story about the precarity of friendship and the vicissitudes of intimacy, and an homage to life through death.
