Synopsis

Tito is one of the many shoeshine boys that works in the city of La Paz, Bolivia. The city is being shaken by a strong social uprising and someone has stolen Tito’s box of worktools. Helpless, he begins a quest where dreams and reality merge. A mysterious woman who appears in his dreams takes him on a journey to discover ancient Inca trails and shows him the wonders of nature that bring him back to his roots.
Lost and confused in a dreamlike reality, the search for his box leads him to a deeper understanding of his own self. But in the city the protests grow into violent clashes. A stray bullet hits Tito and only on the border of death is the mystery of life truly revealed to him. PACHA is a poetic journey in search of answers to the enigmas of life, exploring the analogy between social revolution and personal discovery. Nature is understood in its spiritual dimension and is used as a basis to question human behaviour.
