It is structured as multiple story film with various related characters whose paths criss-cross in a single day when entire nation is glued to the TV sets, watching national tennis stars playing in a major global tournament. The main characters of DEVIL’S TOWN are: The penniless ten years old girl Jelena that tries to afford herself tennis equiment at price of being abused and humiliated by Ivana, daughter of wealthy prostitute. The prostitute’s daughter Ivana that tries to find her real father. The rich teenager Ciril that can’t buy him love. He cannot accept the fact that his girlfriend Natalija left him and he becomes aggressive. Former immigrant that comes back to his native Belgrade and invests all his savings into construction sites. Now he faces corruption and blackmails. The mad taxi driver who blames the rest of the world for his personal misfortune. He made a list of people ‘responsible’ for his ‘tragedy’ and now takes vengeance. Dynamic, unpredictable plot and matching-action cutting makes 82 minutes of the film very intense and drammatic.
