Maksim dreams of repairing an old abandoned
boat and set sail together with his brother who
is receiving a treatment from drug addiction. He
takes Petr from the clinic, interrupting the rehab
program. Maksim’s girlfriend Polina comes along
with them. But the planned adventure turns into a
tragedy.
Many years ago there was a fire on the boat, which
led to death of people present there. The truth
about what happened is cautiously protected by
locals. In their heads reality has been mixed with
mystical versions of what happened.
While the boat is being repaired, Maksim tries to
carry his own investigation. Petr believes that the
backwater is a special place where souls of dead
people can be met.
