Cathy has been preparing herself since the early morning. She is about to celebrate her daughter’s 20th birthday, Eva. She found the perfect gift, eventhough the price is high for her : a car. This way, she knows her daughter will come visit her regularly. Indeed, Eva is getting into her first year of Medical School. Cathy got divorced with Richard. For the occasion, she made an effort to bury the hatchet and to invite him for the celebration. But on that very day, Cathy’s life is turned upside down. She learns brutally that her daughter has been murdered.
