After his divorce Youssef, a taxi driver, lives in isolation and loneliness after his wife took their only son to live with her. He counts the days until he sees his son once a week, playing gammon by himself, drinking and eating, taking long drives by himself in his taxi through the streets of Amman or meeting up with his friends to share his thoughts and troubles. Suddenly his life is turned upside down, when the doctors tell him about the necessity of having a testicular surgery within four days, forcing him into the dilemma of having the surgery or getting his estranged son the dog that he wanted, before his stepfather buys it for him. Falling into a world of isolation, as he drives through the streets of Amman forced by his despair, loneliness and his feeling of defeat from living the time of economic depression and social pressures.
