Two outcasts, Cara a shy fifteen year old girl longing for adventure and Alex a sixteen year old free spirited boy, fall in love at boarding school only to be separated when Alex is expelled. Cara will have to overcome her social fears and go on a journey across borders to find Alex, and to kiss him for the first time on her sixteenth birthday.
