A documentary about faith. An essay on getting old and the fear of death. A story about a group of elders in a soon to become ghost town and their lifetime struggle for respect of their culture. The understanding of faith, where the need of water is the main driving force. An ancient culture is presented as a heritage for new generations to come, if their hometown survives after they die. A film that portrays childhood as hope, while the main characters reminds us that nothing is more powerful than our own will and that there is no such thing as a lost cause. In the center of Sacachun, behind a syncretic wooden cross, San Biritute looked impressive showing its ancestral carved stone nakedness. They say it impregnated women and brought rain. 60 years ago a group of soldiers took him away by force, since then everything changed, it stopped raining and young people left the village of Sacachún, leaving a handful of elders who only live to see San Biritute again, who may bring rain and the school for Justin, the only child in town... Miracles, happen?
