On his only free Sunday -Paul, a middle-aged owner of a big corporation is asked to personally visit a family who refuses to sign a contract to sell their house that is standing on the way of a new constructed highway. He finds the complicated family writing a condolence note for a local newspaper about anold lady from the neighbouring house while following a formula1 broadcast from TV at the same time. To gain their sympathy he first has to help them out. Trying to find the right words to describe the importance of the decedents life makes him think about the meaning of his own person while his men with ditchers and excavators are waiting outside to take down the house.
