Synopsis

Infinite Finity. Thunder Racers. Rat Warriors. Junk Comics’s library of titles has been referred to as the ‘worst material printed since Mein Kampf’. Tony Leary, the nice-guy owner of Junk Comics, is gearing up for one last roll of the dice. His new superhero title, The Sodomizer, launches at the British International Comic Show, and, with the support of his girlfriend, Sam, nothing will stop Tony from making it a success.
Nothing except a gang of Geordie criminals known as the Burger Boys, who are using another comic company to launder their dirty money. Tony is drafted by the police to help them identify the culprits and bring them to justice. Crooked police officer, Tyler Jake, is embedded in the Junk Comics team, a move that leads to immediate conflict as the geek-hating Tyler clashes with Tony’s sidekicks, Rick, a ‘Rock God’ artist, and Keith, the uber-nerd.
Tyler is incapacitated after Rick punches him for spouting highly offensive views on Star Wars. If Tony wants the reward he must uncover the Burger Boys’ front without any help from the police. Working together, Rick, Tony and Keith hatch a plan to unmask the criminals, leaving Laura, a temporary spokesmodel, to run the Junk Comics’ booth.
Tony discovers that the Burger Boy’s front is a comic called ‘Huggles’, the cutest alien/bear in the world. Clem Arnold, the Bond villain behind Huggles, confronts Tony and offers him a job within the Burger Boy organisation.
Sam advises Tony to reject the offer. Even though they are in huge debt, she believes in Tony and knows he will make a success of Junk Comics. When Tyler gets out of hospital and comes back into their lives, Tony realises that Tyler and Clem are connected and devises a way to use Tyler to bring Clem to justice.
With the help of Rick, Keith, and his weird swinger/thespian landlord, Dave, Tony is able to lay a trap that leads to Clem incriminating himself and Tyler. Tyler cops a deal and offers to give up everything he knows about Clem and the Burger Boys’ operation.
With Tony out of action, spokesmodel Laura makes a success of Junk Comics - she manages to pique the interest of big-time Hollywood producer Solly Feldman, who thinks that the Sodomizer, soon to be renamed Vigilant, will make a great movie.
A reward for bringing the Burger Boys to justice and a fat cheque from Feldman Pictures signal a new era for Tony and everyone around him. Let the good times roll.
