The film tells the story of Queen (“Rani” in Hindi), a naïve, young 24-year old, bride-to-be from Delhi. Rani’s life revolves around her ‘home science’ course in college, friends, and her father’s sweet shop. Rani’s life is devastated when her fiance calls their marriage off. This is when she decides to do something she has never done before. A girl who has never been out of Delhi unescorted by her younger brother, leaves for a Paris and Amsterdam to go for her honeymoon all by herself. A jilted bride on a voyage of self-discovery.
