Synopsis

1940. The Canfranc Train Station, an impressive feat of engineering built in the 1920s, becomes a strategic point of passage for goods between Spain and Germany, including food, iron, and wolfram to feed the War that is bleeding Europe dry. Meanwhile, with a sense of apparent normality, the head of French Customs, Albert le Lay, is an active spy working for the Resistance.
Le Lay also assists hundreds of Jews, dissidents and allied soldiers in crossing the Spanish border on their way to freedom. But the Gestapo decides to detain him. Someone warns him at the last minute and he sets off on a bizarre escape that starts with an innocent stroll.
