Angélica is about to turn 40 years old. She doesn’t work, doesn’t have a partner or kids and lives in her mother’s house. Her mother has recently died. The house, in which Angélica spent her childhood, is going to be demolished and a building will be built instead. Angélica and her sister split up the money from the sale. Her sister helps her pack to leave the house. But without her sister knowing about it, Angélica goes back to the house, breaks a glass and enters, becoming an illegal occupier of her own house. Angélica remains in the house while the demolition is taking place. She’s hidden, inhabiting the house like a ghost. She’s dressed like her mother, armed with an old air rifle, resisting between demolished walls and rubble. Angélica won’t leave, won’t give up. She’s determined to fight whoever tries to change her reality.
