After she has gone through two painful divorces, Ji-soo, a funeral director, is asked to marry Jong-woo who suffers from the incurable Lou Gehrigs disease. They start a dream-like marriage without anyones approval. However, Jong-woo hurts Ji-soos feeling as his symptoms begin to worsen. Even though it is heartbreaking for her to bear, all she wants is to stay with Jong-woo and cure his disease. Then one day, Jong-woo decides to give up on everything and to leave Ji-soo.
