Synopsis

Jonas (Urs Jucker), a once successful writer in his mid forties, is suffering from writer’s block. A bad break-up with a child left him with depression. He has to make a living from writing classes for beginners. But with the appearance of the charming and talented Gina (Liliane Amuat), he’s coming back into life. He falls in love instantly and wants to make her a successful writer. But his problems are just about to begin.

THE FROG is a bittersweet comedy about life's crises - and how to make them worse.
