Synopsis
GENERAL COMMANDER is a new, international, action TV series starring Steven Seagal.
The series follows the missions and intrigues of a top secret, rogue, international paramilitary unit created to hunt and kill radical Islamic terrorists in order to stop the momentum leading toward World War III.
Within 24 hours, a small Christian church in the American South and a subway station in the centre of Valencia, Spain are ravaged by suicide bombers, leaving tens dead and injured. An orthodox priest is beheaded in Moscow. The Islamic Caliphate, notorious for their massively effective recruiting strategies and having sleeper cells throughout the world immediately take credit on all of the major social networks.
Their video messages mock their victims and warn of impending attacks. Fear ricochets through the Judeo-Christian world. No one feels safe anymore. Russians, Americans, and Europeans alike are all on the edge. The world is on the verge of a religious war. There are protests in the streets. The people demand action. With the sole backing of the US president, this rogue unit is tasked with the mission to hunt and annihilate the ISIS terrorists, the Islamic Caliphate and their financial backers.
A secret war is launched under the command of the US former Colonel of Special Forces, JAKE ALEXANDER (Steven Seagal) an American war hero. His unit has one mission: Win the war on terror by any means necessary. They know that until Islamic terrorists can no longer infiltrate communities while receiving secret governmental financial backing, the assaults on civilized societies will continue.
From their secret Command Centre, General Commander Jake Alexander's unit launches ruthless, effective ground operations in Iraq, Syria, Libya, Afghanistan, and SE Asia. General Commander Alexander’s unit will hunt terrorist networks in dangerous missions through Spain, France, Italy, England, Russia, Morocco, and America.
Officially this unit does not exist, but it must succeed. Their mission is to save the world on the brink of chaos and keep it from falling into World War III.
