Synopsis

The film is a coming of age tale, in black and white, in French (with parts in English), set in modern day Paris, but a far cry from the post card versions we see in movies today. It's a reference to all of Carly’s favorite Truffaut, Godard, Rohmer, and other French New Wave films, and follows a day in the life of a fresh university graduate, Jane, a girl lost in her imagination, who blindly uses her unrequited obsession with a nonchalent young man named Louis as an excuse not to embrace adulthood or her literary ambitions.
