Synopsis

While in the whole of Europe the populations suffered and died in World War II, it was believed that Spain remained neutral. However, in the north of the country, in Galicia, there was another battlefield. Many people there struggled to survive, resorting to smuggling, illegal trade, espionage and treason at a Wolfram mine in the so-called City of the Germans. And women miners were the leading characters in such a place.
Could two poor women miners change the course of World War II?
Wolfram was the ideal mineral to manufacture the armament required to win World War II ... and the Nazis found it in Galicia. In one of the Galician mines located next to the magical Forest of Teixadal, two sisters are going through the most crucial time of their lives. Both of them lead a double life: apart from working in the mine they engage illegally in the wolfram or “black gold” trade.
This is a story about love, adventure and action, based on actual facts and historic characters.
