In Misiones, Pierre is sended by a multinational to manage forest cuts and pine plantations. As a Rugby amateur, he also leads the young local team "Los Carpinchos". In his profession, Pierre has no qualms; he brings the trees down, burns and spills agrochemicals in this fertile land to improve his company’s performance. In Misiones, malformed babies, cancers and mentally ill children are countless because of the use of those same agrochemicals. As a complain movement rises and spreads through the local population, Pierre has to face desertions among his own workers. Also, Pierre is in love with Ana, a young activist teacher who takes up the cause of the population. Cornered, Pierre will have to choose sides.
