Synopsis
SEB, a young thug, in love with a stripper, LEA, dreams of making movies. He likes to make videos with a small HD camera. As a writer uses his pen to write, he uses his camera to observe all the dealers and thugs of his neighborhood.
While being involved in the robbery of a townhouse with TEX and GOLIATH, his partners, Seb films each of their moves. But, unfortunately, the alarm sets off and they all get caught.
Released from prison, Seb wants to change his life while breaking into movie business and directing his first feature film named « KINGS OF THE NIGHT ». But he still has to work for his boss, MARCEL, the local Mafia’s godfather and owner of the « TANIA’S », a strip club where Lea is doing strip shows.
Marcel is keeping in a safe all the videos about thugs and dealers that Seb did. He warns him that if the local chiefs hear he wants to use the images in his movie, he’s dead!
But Seb is determined. He tells Lea to trust him while promising her that he’ll make her a movie star. His idea to do so : blackmailing a producer!
KRUGER, a well known producer as a well known sex addict, is used to coming to the TANIA’S very often. Seb decides to film him in a « private moment » with a stripper. Kruger gets mad, but Seb tells him he’ll give him back the video only if he helps him to make a movie.
Kruger arranges a meeting with Seb and MATHIAS, an ex T.V anchor who’s now a « movie star ». Seb and Mathias don’t get along but Kruger asks Seb to get him the video back and tells the two guys goodbye. Mathias feels that Seb’s movie project should be a hit. He wants to play in it anyway. He introduces Seb to his young and charming agent : ANABEL FAUVEL.
Anabel is not conviced by the script but she likes Seb’s energy and tenacity. During a party, she bumps into Kruger and convices him to get on board on the project. Kruger accepts the deal, but, unfortunately, he turns out to be a liar and a conman and Anabel decides to quit.
Seb is fade up with Kruger’s attitude, but the latter tells him that since he doesn’t know anything about making movies, he’d better trust him while letting him managing the production of his film.
For Seb and Kruger, putting « KINGS OF THE NIGHT » in shape will become the top priority. But Marcel, the owner of the Tania’s, swears that he’ll do everything he can to stop them…
