After a massive bender, Charles wakes up, unable to recall what happened the previous night. Charle's blackouts become more frequent, and he is forced to consult a professional. With the help of his doctor, Charles slowly discovers that his condition is caused by entities who are "riding" him, a paranormal condition that affects other individuals as well. He meets Katherine, who appears in his flashbacks, and through her, starts to understand there is a Secret Society of Passengers who "ride" unsuspecting victims every day in New York City.
