P.F.A. Films s.r.l. is a film production and distribution company based in Rome, Italy. The company was founded in 1991 by producer and distributor Pier Francesco Aiello. Since then, it has been developing, producing and co-producing films, TV-series and documentaries, at national and international level. Starting from 1992, P.F.A. Films has also operated as distributor, buying and commercializing film rights for theatrical, home video and TV release.
Before making the transition to established Italian producer, Pier Francesco Aiello began his career in acting, appearing in more than 20 films including “Ginger and Fred” by Federico Fellini, “Identification of a Woman” by Michelangelo Antonioni.
Among the most recent films produced by P.F.A. Films: “Napoli Napoli Napoli” by Abel Ferrara, “The Boxer and the Dancer” by Francesco Suriano.” Spaghetti Story” by Ciro De Caro, “Deprivation” by Brian Skiba.
Regarding the distribution, among the last films acquired especially for theatrical release, there are: “Phantom Boy”, “Long Way North“, ”Enemy”, “Tangerines”, “Camp X-Ray”, ”What Richard did”, “Of Horses and Men”, “Rebellion”, “Kill list”, “Submarine”, “ The Deep Blue Sea”, “Unmade Beds”, ”Snowtown”, ”Sibérie”, “Rare export”, “ World’s Greatest Dad”, “Diary of the Dead”, “About Elly”, “Dancing Dreams” (Tanzträume) , “Exit Through the Gift Shop” , “Holy Rollers” , "Rare Exports - A Christmas Tale".
