Synopsis
Diego Batista, a wealthy businessman, has a terrible car accident and his accountant who is with him at the time, consequently looses his life. Diego, in turn, is left with amnesia.
The police determine that this was no accident, someone deliberately cut the cars brake line and an investigation gets underway.
In the search for answers, Diego's family discover that he was having an affair and has also placed his families fortune in danger due to some shady investments.
Miguel Delmone, the detective on the case, starts to link Diego's investments to an unscrupulous man called Ruiz, who is also being investigated for embezzlement.
Delmone, a corrupt detective, uses hookers to spy on the two men. His greed exposes him to Ruiz who now has figured out his modus-operandi and has now become a target himself.
While this is unfolding, Maria, Diego's wife, frustrated, disillusioned, and about to loose her estate and fortune, starts dealing directly with Ruiz for the sale of her husband's company.
Quietly Diego, more aware than is conceived, has devised an immoral plan of his own.
