Synopsis
Based on Ayn Rand's controversial and best-selling novel (over 6 million copies sold worldwide), "Atlas Shrugged, Part I" is a mystery thriller, which takes place in a fictional world where financial markets are out of control, infrastructure is crumbling, and politicians who claim to be representing "the people" are really looking out for themselves. Sound familiar? Written in 1957, "Atlas Shrugged" has never been more relevant, or more important, than it is today. In the feature film, "Atlas Shrugged, Part I," we follow Dagny Taggart, a beautiful railroad executive who discovers that the best and brightest people in business are suddenly vanishing without a trace. Where are they going? Who is behind it? And, more importantly, Who is John Galt? "Atlas Shurgged, Part I" generated almost $5 million in US box office, and the sequel, "Atlas Shrugged, Part II" will be going into production later this year.
