Marga, a 65-years-old woman, announces to her three sons that she has the strong intention to sell their family holiday home - a big rambling house somewhere on the northern Spanish coast, with the purpose of undertaking a long and mysterious journey. The woman invites the three of them to spend a last weekend at the house in order to pick up as many things as they want and to enjoy it together for the last time. Hector, the eldest brother, wants the occasion to marry the woman he has spent over fifteen years with against everyone’s expectations. The family will live a weekend split between: what happened, what's wrong, I can not believe this is happening, that should never happen and what happened had to happen ... a typical family gathering.
