Synopsis

Based on a story of a soviet engineer Rostislav Alekseev, the designer and inventor of the first ekranoplan vehicles – “flying ships”, huge and powerful machines which could move with unbelievable speed right above the water.
This man was an ingenious engineer and a dreamer, faithful to his country. His challenging ideas were much ahead of the time, and consequently faced bureaucratic hurdles and misunderstanding.
