Everybody has something to prove in this action packed adventure. Travis, our heroic cryptozoologist wants to prove that the prehistoric beast killing construction workers in a remote Chinese oil field is more than just a myth. Travis’ ruthless competitor, Harker wants to prove he is the best in the business and to thwart Travis any way he can. Travis is in a race against time to preserve the rare creature because Harker’s business is Trophies and he shoots to kill. The race is not made easy by Harker’s trigger finger itching for humans if they come between him and his prey and the creature has developed a taste for human flesh. Travis is funded by a mysterious wealthy benefactor and escorted by a the benefactor’s slightly overwhelmed lawyer. Travis’ team consists of two friends, seasoned field workers Katie and Brandon, and Jianyu the boy who gave him video proof of the dragon and can tell him the legends the locals have about the creature. Jianyu wants to prove that the oil company is covering up the truth about the beast killing his father on their site which is invading the creature’s time honoured home. The oil exploration has woken the dragon from his tomb, a danger they cannot understand. As the death toll mounts can Travis’ team outwit the company, Harker and escape the jaws of death while saving the species from brutal extinction?
