A strange event transpires during a small Christening ceremony in a remote English church. The local Catholic priest is convinced it's a miracle, so a team of investigators are called in to verify his claim. Fully expecting to debunk the case as a hoax, the team are surprised when they can't figure out how this country priest has deceived them. When strange events escalate following the priest's tragic death, the Vatican team suspect that something darker has surfaced. Presented with a horrific riddle, the team must untangle events from the past and the present to descry the true nature of the Church. Will what they uncover reveal the truth, or will it drag them down and bury them with it?
