Three months after Anna and Juhan, both in their early thirties, decided to have an abortion, they get a chance to take time off in their rich friends’ summer house by the sea. There, however, Anna starts to feel uneasy being alone with Juhan and grows increasingly resentful towards him. Juhan gets a phone call and learns he was laid off from work. Soon after that they have a humiliating incident on the beach, when two strangers go through their belongings and they don’t dare to step in. After that tensions break out and Anna blames Juhan for being a coward. As they fight, they notice another couple - ERIK and TRIIN, in their late 30s - setting up camp on the beach. Soon after a storm breaks out, destroying their tent, so Anna and Juhan are forced to invite them in to spend the night. From the start it disturbs Anna that all four of them are uncannily similar. Seeing their own petty reflection in Erik’s and Triin’s personas, Anna takes on a new role and starts pretending to be the owner of the house. Juhan, unable to stop her, has no chance but to go along. With each lie they get deeper into the game - during which Anna blames Juhan for talking her into having an abortion and Juhan accuses Anna for not saying anything at the time of the decision – until it goes a step too far. When Erik and Triin realize Anna and Juhan were just toying with them, they decide to play their own version of the game. Anna and Juhan are forced to take shelter in their bedroom, barricading themselves against the door. But the guests will not leave. They want to punish them. Anna and Juhan both realize this is the confrontation they had coming for a long time
