The Shame takes place during the course of a single morning. The morning in which Pepe and Lucia, a modern and well – to – do thirty years old couple, have decided to tell Jimena, the social worker who managed the adoption of their son Manu, that the life with the boy is very hard. They cannot handle with the eight – year old Peruvian boy they have adopted. The last six months with him have turned their lives into a living hell. And they want to give him back. But a decision like this one brings unexpected consequences on their lifes.
