In a broken, dream-like memory, a young woman recalls the abuse her mother went through and the eventual retribution that was enacted on her husband. She is now in prison for the murder of this man. This childhood trauma has created an intense fear of all things masculine in Georgie. Living with her grandmother, she is sheltered from the hyper-sexual teenage world around her and remains in a state of arrested development. Then, just when Georgie needs her the most, her grandmother is taken from her too. With this security blanket pulled from under her, she is left alone and afraid to face the demon of her future womanhood and the ghosts of her childhood past. Unable to deal with the reality of her situation, she sinks into a dangerous psychological state where every man is an enemy and everything in her home seems to lead her back to the traumatic events of her childhood.
