Amadou, a strong and charismatic man, washes up on a beach in southern Europe. Full of illusions, he arrives in Brussels, seeking a better life. Exploited by traffickers, he gets bogged down in his hopeless daily existence until he meets Agnès, a beautiful and brilliant businesswoman. With his strong will and enthusiasm, he manages to seduce her and projects all his desires and hopes onto her. Agnès soon realizes what is happen- ing and severs all ties with Amadou who slowly sinks into destructive violence as he struggles with his own demons.
