Based on the classic 11th century novel. Lord Fujiwara orders Lady Shikibu to write a love story to entertain the Emperor. She is secretly in love with Fujiwara, and writes the novel using him as the model for her character, Prince Genji. Lady Shikibu becomes obessed with the story, intertwining herself with Genji`s lovers in the novel, until the love, envy and hate creates a chimera in both the novel and reality. Fierce battles with the chimera begin!
