Couple of Polish immigrants in Sweden, try to make ends meet. Due to a series of misunderstandings arising from cultural differences, their daughter,is taken away from them by the Social Services. When the legal route to get her back brings no results, the couple decides to kidnap their child.

Anita is trying to construct the perfect family. She tries to use her authority to create a better world, but her obsession with perfection leads to tragedy.
