"One day, Luz, a secretary in a construction company, finds in the ruins of an old house a bag with 20 millions pesetas in peseta bills. She keeps the secret, but four quite needy friends manage to find out. As they are told that pesetas can be indefinitely exchanged for euros at the Bank of Spain, they decide to change just a few bills to see if it really works. They get easy money right away. So everybody returns to Luz hassling her with more money needs. But Luz is worried that the money could be the life savings of some old man and decides to find out who the owner is. What none of them can imagine is that the money doesn't belong to any old man but comes from a darker source. In fact, from the first notes they exchanged, they are being investigated."
