The Boss is a true story that took place in the heart of Buenos Aires in the XX century. A logger from Santiago del Estero (the poorest argentine province) arrives to Buenos Aires wishing to progress. With the stigma and ritual burden that margination, hunger and ignorance impose him, he tries eagerly to find a boss that welcomes and protects him. He finds instead a sinister dark character, owner of a chain of butcher shops, who forces him to sell rotten meat to customers while he submerges him into true slavery. Up to which extent can a man be exploited? The boss’ overwhelming cruelty inevitably leads to crime.
