Pears, a rapper, finally achieves long-awaited success, but his milieu doesn’t treat his passions and life choices seriously. Pears cannot accept this. Aga leaves England and returns to Śląsk. Her father, an ex-miner, protests under the Solidarity flag, hating everything and everyone. Aga, dying for change, cannot bear the stagnation of the world she lives in. Finally, Wiktor, a university graduate, needs to suppress his ambitions and earn a living – he works in a fish processing plant. He decides to look for happiness abroad.
