Synopsis

Two directors and a translator are working at the editing of an archive that comes from the footage of a collective movie shot by young Israelis and Frenchmen in Israël and the West Bank in 2011. During the shooting, several guides try to reorient the Frenchmen’s point of view towards the political situation : Shaï, Natally, Tsion or Aseel (the only Arab Israeli in the group). In the editing room, located in Paris, a mirror effect is taking place between the archive and the three characters at work. The translator seems more involved than he was supposed to be. As a polyglot, he becomes a performer playing the different voices we can hear in the film. He is opening a new space of performance in which all the positions and roles are renacted and diffracted.
