In a late indigenous territory lies the largest airport in Brazil. By following not the people passing through it, but on the thousands of workers who carry out its operation on a daily basis, we pursue the traces of a lost past in a territory in constant transformation.

An airport can be a symbol of opportunity for some, pushing them into the future. For others, a place that denies their past and oppresses their daily lives. In a late indigenous territory stands the biggest airport in Brazil, the busiest one in South America: Guarulhos International Airport. It is a city within the city, where hundreds of thousands of passengers are transported daily and 35,000 workers support its operation. The Intrusion retains his gaze not on the passengers in transit, but on the people who remain there.Thirty-eight-year-old Alex works in luggage transportation. He uses his work to satisfy his greatest curiosity: the other. When inspecting a forgotten suitcase, Alex finds objects that make him dive into his memories. Helder, an eighteen-year-old teen who's about to graduate from a federal technical school, lives his present intensely, immersed in what the city can offer him. Benê and Antonia are veteran officials, directors of the airline labor union. She is the leader of the aircraft cleanup team and tries to help immigrants trapped in the airport connector. Benê is reluctant to accept an unwanted retirement and is not sure how to rebuild his life. Alex's girlfriend Silvia, 34, whose hairdressing salon in the city is going from bad to worse, stars to consider leaving in search of new horizons. Their relationship lies at a crossroads between the rise of love and stagnation. Our characters' memories, dreams and challenges are all united by a common issue: the traces of a lost past in a territory in constant transformation.
