Mo (39), short for Monique, has it all: a career as a heart surgeon, a loving family, a monthly visit from her Canadian lover and a prestigious home at Single Street in The Hague. When attractive artist Max suddenly appears on her doorstep, a special friendship ensues. Max fancies men but also longs to have a child, whereas for Mo, motherhood is nowhere near on her radar. She doesn't even know where to find the time to have some fun, never mind to go on serious dates. As the friendship develops, Mo starts to wonder whether there is more to life than just her career.
