A group of friends reunite for a birthday party and hunting trip in this elegant suspense thriller. It’s the first time they’ve met since the death, on a stag shoot two years before, of an unknown man. Geoffrey, responsible for the accidental shooting, is crippled by guilt, but his girlfriend, Julia, an investigative journalist, has her doubts about what really happened. Cautious and hardened by a harrowing incident in her past, she begins to pick away at the web of lies that has been spun, while trying to keep her own secrets hidden.
