Alfred, age 12, who is constantly bullied by the other boys at school. Alfred is a good illustrator and one of the bullies, Benny, becomes interested in Alfred's skill. He wants a tattoo on his right arm and has Alfred draw one in secret. This marks the beginning of an initially reluctant, eventually quite warm friendship between Alfred and Benny. A friendship that at all costs must be kept secret.
