Machida is an ordinary-looking high school student who is academically and athletically inept, and excels at absolutely nothing. However, his saving grace is his boundless love for all of humanity, which has led his schoolmates to nickname him “Jesus Christ.” He never ignores a person in trouble, even if helping them means sacrificing himself, and he always puts others first. Machida believes that humans are all part of one big family. One day, an encounter with a certain individual awakens feelings within Machida that he has never experienced before. On top of that, he comes to realize that being kind to everyone can also hurt a special someone, and Machida’s world turns upside down.
