Mari and Eric’s are a couple who goes on a road trip in an attempt to save their troubled marriage. Their story submerges us in a mysterious drama where past and present are intertwined to keep us in suspense.

In an attempt to solve their marriage problems, Eric and Mari take a road trip through the jungles of the Mexican southeast, but she disappears under mysterious circumstances. On his way back to Mexico City, Eric meets Narciso, an eccentric older man, and gives him a ride. While traveling together, Narciso encourages Eric to tell him about the strange circumstances surrounding his wife’s disappearance. Eric describes a series of weird events which finally lead him to a devastating revelation about the time he shared with Mari.
