Synopsis

Artist painter Atsushi SUWA who's book of paintings "CAN'T SEE ANYTHING ANYWAY" published in 2011 has achieved more than 10,000 copies and he is now bringing many attention as a realism painter. This documentary film is about the adherence of Atsushi SUWA's creative activity. Atsushi SUWA was offered to paint the woman whom had liver failure. "I want you to draw me before an operation", was the request given by the woman.
Tadasuke KOTANI, the director has made "LINE"(2008), "The Cat That Lived a Million Times"(2012) which many has respected in foreign countries. KOTANI who is also in charge of filming, creates transparent feeling towards the image, this creates a intensive feeling towards the viewers as a perspective through the candidates eyes, a photography which sinks into the hearts of the spectators who faces the screen, The model being just there and The painter is there just to paint. From this relationship, becomes SUWA's painting. The camera is shot carefully and finds something flowing in between the distance of the two.
