Guido is a pesticide sprayer, he lives an absorbing and mechanical routine. Shy and repressed, he has lived his whole life only with Nora, his domineering mother. After her unexpected death, Guido must confront his social environment for the first time in his life.The characters that surround him, however, are as alone as he is, and pursue absurd desires. Raul, his charlatan and opportunist stepfather wants to revive his broken business; Paula, his dominated stepsister, dreams of one day stepping Mars; and Diamond, a lonely prostitute, is looking for true love. These characters, among others, will gradually isolate Guido, who will commit a cruel murder, revealing an inner yet hidden psychosis.
