Romana is a big woman, with little luck. Her childhood was filled with verbal abuse and namecalling from her mother, sister and friends. As an adult, things haven't gotten much better. Her weight is the reason she gets laid off from her beloved job in the beauty industry, and also impedes her from being a candidate for the liposuction she wants so desperately. Just as her universe seems to collapse around her, Romona finds magical beetles in a tarot café, which begin to change her luck.
